Three questions for Bonny Carrera

What drew you to illustration/design?

I have always been fascinated by 3D illustrations on billboards. And I needed to know how these campaigns are being developed and wanted to work towards that as soon as possible. I had no formal design training but learned everything from nerdy teenagers in YouTube tutorials.

What's the best advice you've ever gotten?

Do more of what makes you happy and less of what makes you unhappy.

Do you have a childhood memory related to drawing/art that is important to you?

At the age of four, my sister scribbled colorful circles and strokes wildly on a sheet of paper. She called her work: "Back and forth in the aquarium".
